I work for a company that specializes in multi story new construction and we use the Seams Easy product ourselves, as do many of our subtrades.

[…] Seams Easy is a terrific product that helps produce tight narrow joints in a wide variety of products. It provides a smooth slippery surface for tooling and easy cleanup. Siliconing toilets to porcelain tile can be a challenge with uneven tile finishes that stick to the silicone. Seams Easy really shines in this application as well, allowing a smooth well finished caulk line and no excess that is difficult to remove from the tile. Removing and re caulking joints is one the installers worst headaches, trying to improve another trade’s poor work. Seams Easy really shines in this type of situation was well, providing a slippery surface to tool the new material out on, after removal of the old.

[…] Spraying Seams Easy along the joint after the product is placed would solve most of these problems of too wide a seam that looks unsightly and won’t stand up over time. The dryness of siliconized acrylic makes it a challenge for many installers when jointing two different product surfaces, especially those using a finger to smooth the product out. Seams Easy provides that wet surface to help achieve a much better finished joint. The “no-clean-up” aspect of the product means you don’t have to touch your work after the tooling is complete, Seams Easy dries invisible on all materials we have applied it to.

One of the hallmarks of a good product is the little amount needed to get the job done. Seams Easy excels with minimal application to the caulked seam before tooling, your tools and hands wipe clean, and there is no need to touch the work surface other than to remove excess caulk. We’ve found it’s very easy to go back over a seam and add caulk when needed to fill a joint to the desired level.

We use both taped edges and non- taped applications in our caulking and Seams Easy has worked very well in both. Even the most experienced installers will find situations where a can of this product will help a difficult install.

It is truly the best product for our applications that have only grown over the years.

Whether it be in an area on our products that require aesthetic appearance or in areas where sealing only is needed, “SeamsEasy” gets the job done quick, accurate, and cleanly.

In addition to those benefits the “SeamsEasy” product prevents silicone from sticking to operators hands and fingers after tooling, thus saving us costs on personnel clean up activities.

It would be hard to find in our factory anywhere silicone is used that does not have a can of “SeamsEasy” readily available.

Not to far back in the past I had heard how we were low in availability. Temporary internal problem I believe. I found it interesting in how quick word spread and how concerned our staff was that we would be short of product. After not hearing much about “SeamsEasy” for many years I thought to myself how the factory must really like that product and how it’s become so mainstream.

It’s good to have and continue to be a customer of “SeamsEasy”.

I have been using Seamseasy for the better part of 5 years now. I work in full time home renovations so it’s a product that comes out quite often.

Lucky for me; being young and slightly more adaptable than some, I actually started out siliconing with SeamsEasy, it’s how I learned, so for me when the silicon comes out, so does the SeamsEasy, I don’t even need to think about it. The fact that I learned to silicon whilst using SeamsEasy however doesn’t make me biased as on occasions where I ran out or didn’t have it I thought, “is it actually that good?, Can’t I get similar results without?

The answer is no, no you can not, you will however have sticky fingers, dirty pants a Horrid taste in your mouth and a bead line probably 1 inch bigger than the 1/8th inch gap you were originally siliconing. What a mess! As long as I’m doing this kind of work I will be using Seamseasy as my go to tooling foam.
